Strong metal energy is present in the mountains – it is in the major mountain ranges of this planet that one finds the 'leader dragons' that determine the fault lines and energy of our planet. It is in the mountains that one gains a deeper understanding of the elements and the primordial forces of nature. Every summer when the fire chi of Dubai becomes too strong for me to handle, I take the children off to the mountains 'chasing dragons'!

Metal is a very powerful element. It gives birth to Water and controls Wood. Its position is in the West and the North West and is all about leadership and power. However, it is a power that comes from a deep consciousness and self-realisation. Metal is also about noise… it is the element of music and song. Individuals who have metal as their supporting element tend to have an ear, if not a talent, for music!

Capturing the metal element in perfumery has been a real challenge! The metal element belongs to the skin, the spleen and the nose and lungs. The taste of metal is pungent and the scent is very powerful and , well, metallic! Here we use mainly white blossoms as in white Rose, Casablanca lilies, Jasmine and Magnolia, with undertones of Birch Bark or precious Ambergris, depending on the individual
